Artist Statement
Title: The Mutual Pyramids
Art Criticism Process:
Title: The Three Golden pyramids in the galaxy
1. Describe: Three gold pyramids with galaxy background and bright sun in the middle
2. Analyze: I used water colors to create the galaxy background and i Also mixed brown and yellow to create the golden color on the pyramids
3. Interpret:The meaning of this peace is that there are 3 sides to every story and you should always stay mutual that why the biggest pyramid is in the middle and the sunis over it representing me or yourself.
4. Judge: I think this peace was successful because i used different shads of color for example i used dark purple and purple.
Artist Statement:
My inspiration for this peace was the pyramid they have an unique shape. Also my inspiration was point of view and the way of life.
I began this peace by mapping out the pyramids and the sun. Then i put masking fluid around the sun and on the out line of the pyramids. Next i began adding water color to the peace. It took two layers of paint to make the galaxy background. Lastly i took some white paint and made the splatters that look like the stares.
Title: Earth First!!
In this piece you should see earth the moon and two other planets.In the background you see stares all over and deep black space. The tittle of this piece is earth first . In this piece I tried to create foreshortening and show technical skill by blinding colors.
The first thing i did to create this piece draw four sketches. Next I trased my final sketch on my final paper. Then I began coloring and blending color to make the nice colors of the planets and moon. Lastly i add the stares to the background to take away all negative space.
Seeing space pictures and how beautiful they are it inspired me to make this piece. This peace show how much is beyond us just by showing the stars and other plants. In reality we dont know if there are other things living on these planets so it makes you think beyond yourself and earth.
The goal I wanted to accomplish through this piece was to show foreshortening and technical skill through color blending and showing values of color. In this piece I feel like I accomplished my goals and i feel like it made me a better artist.
While creating this piece I learned how to blend colors and how to do a foreshortening piece. This piece came out how i expected it to be but at the same time it did not. I thought the foreshortening was gonna come out better.This piece helped me understand values more and in the future it will be easy for me to show valuer
Title: Everlasting love
In this peace you should see a nice red rose in side a glass type structure in perfect condition. It has a nice black background that help bring out the color of the the rose. The title of this peace is love that last forever.
The media I used for this piece was color pencil and black paper. First I sketch out the rose and the glass structure. Then I trased it onto my final paper. Next I started coloring my rose, blending whit pink and two different types of red. Last I Used white to to make the glass type structure.
What inspired my piece was the rose from The Beauty And The Beast. The meaning behind this piece is that love can last forever. The rose is in a glass structure with no water or no oxygen but it is still living and in great shape. The rose represents the love and the glass structure represent what barrier or event that happened that is controlling or trying to control the love.
The goal i had for this piece was to over come a challenge that I had set. The challenge was to do this piece on a black sheet of paper. This peace helped me become a better artist because it challenged my technical skill.
Overall this piece helped me become a a better artist because I learned alot from doing this piece. I learned that you can actually blend colors using color pencils. The final piece is better than what I imagined. This peace will influence my future artwork because i want be scared to take a risk. 4
Title: The Free Fish
In this peace you will see a very beautiful colored beta fish with an nice black back ground. I used oil pastels to create this peace of art. In this peace I used three types of texture techniques using oil pastel The tittle of this this peace is called The Fish.
This peace was made using oil pastels. before using the oil pastel I sketched out some ideas then I practice with the oil pastels before using the for my final peace. Next I sketch out my main peace on my final paper. Then I began putting color on to the fish first. I started with the back end and down to the face or front of the fish. Next I did the nice background. At last went in and did some details to make the look better.
What inspired my peace was the nice colored and beautiful beta fish. My peace could reflect the loneliness of a territorial beta fish. This could show many different types of emotion like depressing or also satisfying depended on how you find begging alone.
Some goals I had with this peace is to become better with using oil pastels. This peace helped me because I learned many different techniques to create many different textures. This peace also help me become a better artist overall.
This peace came out great. At first I did not think I was going to creat a peace this good but it came out ok. From this peace I have learned that as you start a peace it will become better as you get closer to finishing.

The meaning of this peace is that everyone voice has strength but most of the time less than how strong our voice could and should be.

I think this peace was successful because the colors are cool and the fist with the mike stands out witch was key to the peaces success.

My inspiration for this peace was how are voice could change a lot of things in the world. Everyone in the world has the right to voice there opinion your opinion could chaged a lot of peoples perception of something.
The processed i used is i placed my sketch on my canvas then painted the bakground. then i painted the fist witch is black and then placed the words.
Title: The stray tree
1. Describe:this is a tree with no leaves in the winter time
2. Analyze:I used lines to create value and contrast
3. Interpret:The meaning of this peace is some time you may have no one but you still have yourself
4. Judge: This project was successful.
My inspiration for this project was the winter time, how leaves on trees are gone and the tree seems to look dead. In the winter time these leave-less trees look a little scary or creepy.
My process of me drawing was at first i figured out what position i wanted my object to be placed . Then i used lines quality and to give it value.
